Dental implants are the gold standard replacement option for missing teeth.

We create bespoke treatment plans for your individual situation and also consider all other tooth replacement options and truly provide what we feel if best for your given situation.

What are dental implants?

Simply put, dental implants are a titanium replacement for your tooth ‘root’. They are placed into the prepared area of jawbone, integrate with the bone, and they form a replacement for the root of the missing tooth or teeth. Dental implants can be used to replace individual teeth, support bridges, and support dentures.

What are the advantages of dental implants?

• Function: Provision of a dental implant or implants improve function- allowing you to eat a wide variety of foods.
• Aesthetics: Dental implants improve the appearance of your mouth and smile by filling unsightly gaps and balancing out any lack of symmetry caused by missing teeth.
• Maintenance: The presence of dental implants in the jaw bones maintain bone height in these areas, preventing possible visible shrinkage.

What is the dental implant process?

We will carry out an initial consultation to explain the implant process and potentially carry out an X-Ray. We generally carry out a digital scan of your mouth and plan treatment which will generally include a CBCT scan so we can visualise the quality, quantity and position of your bone.

You will then receive a detailed document via email outlining visits needed, costs and time scales. You will be given to opportunity for reviews and opportunities to ask questions.

We carry out our implant placements under Local Anaesthetic.
